This is my first wallpaper, I have seen this image of Kusanagi Motoko for the first time on the avatar of a friends of mine in msn and I got stunned - it's very great image... but I did not found any good realization - only small and bad scans. I found a large scan with low quality and I start to work on it, I give it some effect to improve quality and shading (I think this last was the harder thing to do), next using some brushes founded on DevianArt I built the background. My first attempt was no good but now I think it's ok - also the comment (too short on the second attempt, sorry now for my bad English ;-).

Great wall. i love the whole techno feeling and the character ( cant remember her name) seems to bear quite a bit of emotion too...Love the wires as well. Good job.

Glad to see it got accepted, i really like the bg you made. the scan has some artifacts and i think some text on the left there would've looked nice but overall this is an awesome wall! good job! :)

The background is quite amazing ^^
From lines to abstract, overall giving that mechanic feel, which suits the scan itself as well.
The colors used in the background seems to go well with the mood of the wall & the scan.

Yeah i have actually seen this used before but it was like a wattery background, but this makes it seem more realistic i really love the background you put with it... and the machine parts look beter ^_-

The scan is good (but a little blurry, I think) and it matches well with the background. The colours are great, I like blue there and the wallpaper has some kind of "techno" or "mechanic" atmosphere in it... very nice ^^ The effects are awesome.

I read the comments people have done... thanks to everybody. I'll start a new wallpaper on holidays (if I'll find good ispirations)... however, if anybody want see the bad original scan and the wallpaper less compressed can search at Session Zero Forum my two posts. One last think... I've worked on it on my notebook and now that I've seen that wall on others monitor I discover that my notebook colours are more brighter than others and the image looks a bit (only a small bit) better... I have to calibrate that for the next wall...
