Yo it's me again! What's Up?
I'd like to introduce you to this new wall I made, on this November 29th, 2K5.
I've been telling everyone around about how I'm a huge fan of Mai Shiranui, since several years, now it's the time to show it! And that's the reason I made this wall.
Anyway let's get started on the ideas and techniques I used:
The polaroids concept was here since the beginning, because it allowed me to put several artworks of Mai without overwhelming the whole wallpaper. So after the extraction and the cleaning work, I realised that I had no backgrounds for the photos, so it wasn't realistic. So I came out with the idea of adding real KOF 'in-game backgrounds'. I ripped it myself from my emulator! :-) And after a cleaning session, the result wasn't so bad; My favorite is the one from KOF'96. Finalizing all the polaroids took me a whole afternoon. (I'm a beginner under PS).
Final idea was to insert in the wallpaper a lil' description of Mai, but I wanted it to be original. I must say that I'm proud of the result. I figured the fighter licence card was an original way to do it, because it allowed me to integrate one more artwork. I created the Ink Stamp myself to increase realism.
I hope you guys like it, let me know, I open to every comment!
Kanjis say of course: Shiranui Mai.
PS: all you fans of MAI let me know if you've got artworks to share.
