Took a screenshot from the opening to Gravion Zwei, because I thought Luna's entry into screen was really cute, and then I psuedo-vectored it using Photoshop. I didn't use Illustrator because I don't know how to get the same kinds of blurring and lighting effects from it just yet. I'll get it eventually, I'm sure.

Yes, you can do a lot more with that picture. I don't know this anime so can't really comment. First is the blur on the front hair. Second is the blur on the character. The background ~is~ okay, but can be improved.

Hay, the bg maybe simple but the character image is something else. why i said this? me feel camera digital athmosphere, explanation : its like the camera's lens focused on char's face while the blurred hair means its closer to camera or not camera's focus area.

Seems the picture somewhat overwhelms it, and there's very little truly to the wallpaper. With that being said, it's a simple piece that's well done. The effects aren't overdone, the textures are subtle, and so on...It just...Doesn't seem to have much to it, to be entirely honest. It's very well done, but you could of done more, I think :)

Wow. Lots of comments for only being up for 4 minutes.
I'll try to address everyone's comments, and hopefully not come off sounding pissy; First, the color is kind of washed out because it's saved as jpeg... the PNG and PSD versions are much more vibrant. If anyone knows how to get better color out of JPEG, please let me know.
As for the bluriness, my goal was to match the opening sequence as close as I could, and if you HAVE seen the opening you'll notice that the hair in front is indeed meant to be out of focus, the same way something closer to the viewer, or camera lens would be out of focus.
The simple background is intentionally kept simple because my subject is OBVIOUSLY Luna and I felt anything more would be useless detractors. However, there were some psuedo technical looking effects in the opening which I could have added but didn't, because those elements were in motion during the opening sequence, and I felt that with them sitting still in one spot, with a higher contrast, they were merely pulling the eye away from the character.
I'm not a big fan of random photoshop effects, either. Everything about this wall was intentional. (except for ONE error that no one mentioned).
To everyone who expressed enjoyment for this wall, thank you! And if anyone wants the PSD file without the background and blur, I might be persuaded into making it available for editing. Heck, maybe someone can create a more complex background that I like!
