Just a little experiment by myself into a style different than my own. I tried doing a tech wallpaper without resorting the usual grunge/stock image look I go for. I'm not sure if this is a good wallpaper or not, but I figured it can't hurt to expand my horizons occasionally.

Nice tech composition! It not everyday I see them but this one is very nice. The colors are great pic that matches the girl's outfit. And you're right, it doesn't hurt to do other things. Great job!

I like the colors, it's really eye-catching and vibrant. The repeated thick lined tech isn't my thing, but it still looks alright ^^

This is really nice. The colors are vibrant and yet has that "wet" feeling due to the blurring(?) effect of the character which gives a much richer color hue.
About the rings around her, I think you should retained the solid ring layer and blurred a duplicate of it followed by a reduction in opacity. As for the original solid ring layer, reduce the opacity to make it translucent.

Oooh...nice job on it! i love the tech-ness and that tech lines around the girl. the wavy colorful background gives it a special feel and matches with the scan of the girl.

The character goes really good with the colour of the background and I like this whole style however there is something about the scan that I don't like, but I can't really tell what *slaps herself* But all in all I like it really much.

Great job! I can't really suggest too much. The background looks okay in my opinion. The background's design looks a bit "out of sync" with the character. The character's scan needs a bit of touchup, I think. I hope to see more of your work soon! Keep 'em coming!

Then you can make other different types of wallpapers that would look nice. This wallpaper seems ok, i don't really have anything against it, cuz if it doesnt irritate your eyes, it's considered fine for me. The girl also fits in with the background pretty well.
Like... her hair color fits in with the top portion of the wall which is full of dark colors. While her body, which is mostly yellow blends in with the mix of green and other light colors in the background. The bottom goes back to a dark color... doesnt really matter wat that looks like.. but sending it back to a dark color thats the same as the top portion is good, so it matches and doesnt look messy.
