Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Hey guys = ), it may not look like much but this one is 100% digitally painted. So everything you see was painted, no scans involved hehe. I like how it turned out, and absolutely love this scene from "Speed of 5 Centimeters Per second" created by Makato Shinkai a true genius of anime art. This is also a promotion type deal for my group Shinkai Brillance Who is the creator of the movie series. If you love Makato Shinkai's work be sure to come visit!

EDIT:I took away the grass, added a few subtle details troughout the whole piece and made the characters spaller =D. ALSO I added a 1600x1200 resolution available too!XD

The main portion of this piece that caught my eye was first the purple nebula in the right corner followed by the light originating in the sky. It quite definatly fits the title.

I really liked this wallpaper especially its overall surrealistic effect. You've done a good job in picking your colors, they really blend well together. And your use of shadows is a nice approach accentuating the background even more.

An unusual wallpaper resolution but definitely something I like, much like a row of epic wallpapers I do collect, this wallpaper carries just the right tone of characters made into shilouettes and the way they are placed just makes space for the awesome effects over the wallpaper. Great work yet again, if this continues, I might decide to watch your works. Fav

Simply stunning... the creativity for this wall was just plain awesome! The swirling effect, the good feeling coming from it especially the two characters in it makes this wall full of good feelings. Great job!

Love this wallpaper alot since the minute i saw it. The colors, ambiance, character, surrounding, EVERYTHING. And i love Byousoku 5 Centimeters as well, great story, great characters and great art. I love your digital painting done on this wallpaper. Truly deserves a praise.
