The amount of patience, hard work and an eye for quality is what defines this wallpaper. Character is painstakingly vectored off a real life toy image with references to screenshots. Despite the difficulty level, ~pvc24 still manages to nicely depict the image in anime fashion and yet able to find the mental strength to come up with a background composition that is both aptly fun and pleasant in atmosphere.

SANA!

I can't vector to save my life!
Here's Sana from Innocent Venus. I know a lot of people found her to be really annoying in the series, but I actually didn't mind her so much. She's cute xD. I took a screenshot from the anime and vectored it (as you can tell, vectoring is NOT my strong point. But I'm working on it =P).

It's a really good conception, but It fails in some ways...

Please take it like a good critics >_< I really like this wallpaper, but I think you need to work more on some different solutions to have it done perfectly for lots of favs.

First of all, In my case I would spread the text. This is a widescreen wall, and you don't really need to have it too dense in the middle and nothing in the both sides. Then I would have the text in a color between black and white(or maybe white-pink)... it is too luminous with this white, calling much more attention than needed. Maybe I would try some smallcaps in the E - and - you letters also.

Second, I would work harder on her constrasts. It's too gloomy, the colors are too next each other, and they are too luminous that they ofuscates me and removes my hability to separe the different pinks. The result: I can't understant that much of the picture without 2 minutes of focused look. (btw, that is a result of the contrast between the chara and the bg).

Anyway, I liked it... ^^

I totally agree with kleaf on all his points. I like this wall, but there's several things as kleaf pointed out that you need to address to make this wall stand out.

With the vector, I know you probably didn't have a lot of detail to vector, so some of the fault isn't with you. But the colors of the vector are all too bright and similar. Increasing the darkness of the shadows would help improve the contrast, as contrast is very important in a simplistic wall like this.

Secondly, the hair could use some smoothing. With vectors, the most important thing to remember is that the lines have to be smooth and flowing, and generally this makes all vectors look a lot cleaner.

On the flip side, I like your bg. The dark bg provides a nice contrast to the bright pink and white vector, and the pattern is well made. The gradient looks nice, so good work with that ^^ With this wall, it's just a few things that stand out, but those few things really affect the wall drastically. Keep up the good work :)

I actually really like the vectoring around the hair, but the outlines of the face and stomach could use a little smoothing. It's amazingly clean and simplistic though, which makes this wallpaper so nice. Also, thanks for the many resolution choices, now I have one for my laptop and one for my computer. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more!

Beautiful concept, I think the chara is too bright and so any other subtle colors are lost, a few lines here and there would of added more definition to the vector, making it stand out more, that being said, i love the gradient patterns, the negative space and the initial concept, great job and keep it up!
