This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

This wallpaper was created from a few things.
A. I started to watch the series, and seeing that it was really good and REALLY beautiful animation work, gave me the idea of making a wallpaper of it.
B. Seeing that there are no wallpapers of this anime here, I felt almost obligated to make one.
C. fairy-wings really likes this anime too.

SO...

I took the original scan and repaired it and extracted the main stock of balsa and put her on a black background. From there it was lighting effects, use of the basic brushes and the smudge tool. The logo in the right hand bottom corner was taken from the second scan. It's a very simple and basic wallpaper (heck there isn't even a background) but i think it came out really nice.

Very nice. I can't seem to find many Seirei no Moribito wallpapers so I'm just hoping people will make some. You did a great job with this one. Love the blue scheme.

The light on her face and shoulder ist quite perfect ... love it! Probably the first Seirei no Moribito wallpaper I've found on the inet which is simply stunning! Faved!

Very nice work. I like the darkness illuminating effect off the spear blade. The shadow effect over Balsa's torso is very well done, and I also like the light patterns.

I love Balsa she's so strong. I really like the lightning effect that's surrounding Balsa's spear also the the blue lighting reflect that looks like a moonlight effect shining on Balsa is a good one. Balsa herself appears to be rather well detailed and the choice of the text is very befitting of this wallpaper. Excellent job!
