Wow, it's been a really long time since I submitted anything here, or even made a wall for that matter. With this wall, my goals were threefold: (1) Do a vectorish thing and actually submit it this time; (2) Get back into the practice of making wallpapers after a loong hiatus, not entirely to blame on Hurricane Katrina but partly so; and (3) raise awareness of breast cancer. As the wall says, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ladies, if you're old enough to get checked, this is a good month to do it. If you aren't, or if you aren't a lady but know ladies who should be getting checked, please remind them. My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and her mother was a victim, so this wall is dedicated to them.

This wall took a few hours, spread out over 2 days. Used several sets of tech brushes by Jenn's Sanity, and a Cutey Honey scan from here (which I also used earlier in the layout of Kame-House.net. I don't remember how many layers I used, but there is a lot of color overlay, pattern overlay, and stroke. This is my first wall, I think, that has the character on the left side and blank space on the right. I meant for it to look simple and clean. I think it came out a bit empty, but I couldn't think of anything to put there. I didn't want tech all over the wall.
The kana next to Honey's head say (or are supposed to say) "Oppai Check!", which I meant to mean "Boobie Check!" ^_^ There's a lot of humor in the breast cancer survivor community nowadays, which I guess they can afford because more people are surviving it.
I hope you like this wall, even though it's not very good; hopefully I will be submitting more in future (I've had severe waller's block for ages!). Comments and constructive criticism are not only appreciated but welcomed.
