Kaleido Star is a fantastic serie that my Finnish friend Mikko introduced to me... so I must dedicate this wallpaper to him. :] I've been a huge fan of KS ever since I watched the 1st episode. I was highly moved with episode 26 and I wanted to reproduce the *SPOILER* "Maboroshi no Waza" scene (mystical act)! Unfortunately, KS definitely lacks variety of high quality scans so I ended up vectoring again. This time I went without outlines because two characters were really long to vector and I get quickly bored vectoring too long. Plus, it wasn't really easy because the original model lacked details I needed to add with my vector version.
As for the background, I'm still experimenting the same style I did with my previous FMA wallpaper which is semi abstractico-scenic with mass FX. The bg was first vectored and then reworked with Photoshop (adding textures and stuffs).
I really wanted the people to feel the magic you feel yourself when you watch this scene. I don't know if I've succeeded tho.
