After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I think according the extreme resolutions we working is that not important. Rather should we discuss if we allow that heavy paintning of vector masks.

PS is a vector tool considering that you produce a vector, but photoshop rasterizes it into px so rescaling isn't possible =( so basically it's a vexel tool

Imo you should start a topic about this and see what others think. I partially agree with you mouton, but imo PS is also a vector tool (although not a real one)

I think a vector is something fully scalable from the source file (ie: svg, ai and so on) without lose on quality. Painting using vector mask is nice and all but not really vector from my point of view. But I am perhaps a little extremist on this subject.

Alucard here,

I accidentally visited azn-something's UP
and saw a beautiful scan..and I immediately thought of something after I saw her pose.

I had fun doing this one
though...I wasted a lot of time in trial and error with the text placement and how I will make it work.
as you may know, my wallpaper style consists of different colors and the ever so used rising sun brush, I got tired of that too..hence I tried something different

hope you guys like it.
comments and faves are welcome to full extent.
FAVE IT IF YOU LIKE IT T_T...it reduces ratings if you just comment ...you know? T_T

I really like the color scheme you went for ~ it seems really natural
but the wallpaper seems too static.. Did you use a stock image for this one? The platform of rings directly below the character seem too much like mundane thread to me, and they could be blended into the clouds more by perhaps, an subtle outer glow? (but it can be overlooked) Anyway, this's still pretty good. Two thumbs up! :)

the color of the blue sky is perfect and also the clouds added a really nice effect to the wallpaper. The circles (what do you call them?) under Momo is nicely made too!

I would have loved to see more glowing things coming from that insignia + serifed font for the english part and the clouds need to be a little more filtered/smudged
but overall i love the her pose + the concept behind this wall, great job ~

Beautiful wall, despite you use stock photos for the clouds, it turns up nice looking wall
i wonder if the circle is glowing, and usually the effect you make with the circle is about floating on the water, but this idea works well too, but if you painting the clouds, it could be even more interesting work =)
