This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

This is the first item I upload here... I made this wallpaper several weeks ago.
It's Kira that looks pissed off cause his Gundam just got destroyed. I like him that way :)

Kira is a vector I made with Illustrator with screenshots from the series as references.
The Gundam is a scan that comes from Minitokyo (post by MystikJ).

I made the background with a lot of painting with brushes and stock photos that came from a free photo CD.

EDIT: Thanks to Kalico comment I did some change to the vector and it less look like a bad quality scan I think... and it's also more bright! I hope it looks better.

Hope you guys will like it!

Ahlalala...nice wallpaper man i love it nice BG mosly all the new wallpaper with kira on it got allways the title "Field"*s on it but it really is the good title lol. anyway good job on your wall

Nice, I like how you made the character large so he can stick out and the viewer's attention is fixed on him. Also, a very unique suble background goes well with the overall concept. And the grundgy effects along the side makes for the perfect finish.

Cool wallpaper! I love Kira! I haven't watched Gundam seed destiny yet, but I am downloading it right now. The music already satisfied me, so that is my approval for the serie to beon my pc :) I love the background you gave this it matches all very well. Good job! ^-^

Overall it's not a bad concept, but it needs some work. For starters, the character image you used looks really messed up, you need to adjust the contrast and brightness, right now it's just too dark. Also the fog and clouds you used look way too uniform, you need to go back and add some randomness.

Overall, i really like this wall. one thing bugs the hell out of me though.
the overlay you have on kira makes him look like horrible poor quality. i think you should take it off, or lighten it up A LOT. because it looks like a really bad quality scan, and since you say it's a vector, there shouldn't be any reaos for that.
the rest, redness said, so i'll leave it at that.

I like this wallpaper. i like teh fog effect. and kira's expression looks neet as well. fields of sorrow is a good name this walapper. i like teh asd colros ...it almost giives you the feel of ahatred though

Ahh this one ;) i've seen it before. Its a great wallpaper i like the way you put the two concepts together of kira pissed and freedom downed..hrmm nice work. *thumbs up* keep up the great work anji!!
