As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Uhh...i'm reading nana...and i really like the part when nana talks about the first time she saw ren...so i make a wall with that text and i also vector a really cool scan from aethereality. and one of ren from here...

personally i enjoy the color scheme...i think the contrast is nice.

100% no brushes or textures...this is very hard for me to do...i tried a new vectoring method, please crit!

This wall is teh seckz. I love how the random shapes and color choice place special empahisis on the character. The new style of vectoring for you would be the more detailed, no? I tried it myself so I can relate. Also, Im glad you didn't use a texture or brush, it would've ruined the smooth mood. The only thing Im not crazy about is the font choice, everythig else drives me mad.

STOP BEING SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!!

Ok, the line art on the left kinda bugs me. It doesn't seem like it fits with the rest of the wall. Secondly, the circles are a bit blurry. BUT! The vectoring on Nana is meticulous and I like the text. It looks really desktop-friendly, too. This is definitely going into my favorites.

I really like what you've done with this wall. It really does fit the character, who looks great by the way. Colors and lines are all complimentary to me. The only thing I would do is get rid of the "nana" text. So glad that you didn't use textures, too. Great job!

Wow. wasn't expecting what i got in the fullview - but that's a good thing. love the profile of ren on the left - all of the text could be in a different font, but i really, really love the overall composition used here. fabulous job, annex.

I love the bg. It's so creative and very artistic. The blues of the bg give it almost a tranquil feel to it. The text is a bit off with the rest of the wall and i think disrupts the mood of the wall, but that's easily amended. Good work:)

I never knew someone could work with this image. And yet we sort of can't. I have a problem with the text and the loneliness of how she is, and she's really the only thing that's black and red. I love everything else though. But I guess you actually wanted it to be that way ^^. It's amazing, awesome job!

I love the background, its simple lookin, sharp and clean. I like the subtle use of colors, the blue and purple mix is great and I like the overall composition. Nana looks out of place in all this but I still like it! Favorites for me :)
