the jpg standard which was created like 20 years ago, for some reason, sucks at compressing the color red

png with 24-bit pallette

I usually use Save To Web, and then choose png-24

jpgs are still usefull often files size is smaller

it could be worse, if EA made jpg format, red would be a DLC
