This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I made two versions of this wall. The darker of the two, I posted at MT. Used textures from SXC.HU and, the original scan came from MT which seems to be down at the moment.

Also, as a side note...I did not use brushes. Everything was made from scratch except, of course, the textures.

Seems rather dirty. Was that intentional? The girls, in my opinion are really cute though. When I look at this, it makes me think about bikers, for some odd reason. Good work!

Not a bad wallpaper. The details in Rei and Asuka are pretty simple but they work with the wallpaper. Great work!

Yay! Another great wall from you! This is a really new look for Evangelion. Or well, I haven't seen one of this kind that's been made for it. The way you used the colors to blend into eachother works wonderfully well. Hey, you didn't use pink this time either XP I prefer this version over the dark one, because it really shows the textures better and you can see the vectors much better. Well, another fav. for me. Great job as always! ^^

Evangelion is always a nice summer wall...
great style and awesome colors...even tho i have to say i enjoy the white bg better than the grunge.
i will use it as my desktop.

I would like to be able to download it because it looks really nice that way, but i reached Download límit a long time ago and i'm too busy to do anything. I got the "darker version" but i don`t like it so much as this one. Anyway, i'll fave it.

HOLY! Your art and style always seem to surprise me! Its sooo damn good! Love this vectored wall! Great stuff! Love the texturing and the great color work! I REALLY like the darker version! In fact its on my desktop right now! Great simple brush work behind Rei and Asuka! You are definitly amazing at creating wonderful and beautfiul walls! A definite favorite!

Wow, I really dig the style and texture. The two girls look really cool! The backround is rather so-so imo though.

And I do believe the lighter version looks better.

although i think the white color seems a little bit too much, or maybe i am not really like the white color background.

Oooh, I really like this. The colours are so bright, and the contrast is just right. This may sound kind of weird, but the wallpaper makes me think of tangy popsicles - Rei is cold without being hypothermia-inducing, and Asuka is sparky without burning you. I'll end this awkward metaphor by saying nice job, def. fav.
