i like the concept, the limmerick-al style/ the comedy behind the work and i recognize that.
just the quality i'm having a problem with as it is too obvious for PS brushes.. not to mention default brushes, not that i have anything againts it however, maybe manipulating it even further would bring out its comedic side and a more natural feel. though you did say dA! brushes, i don't really see much difference.

here's a tip. you can try using different shades of green for the grass to give it dimension and buoancy, not flat. Flatness is good in some artworks like the minimalistic types or even grunge, but not for this one >< then you can try altering the "curves" so you can get lighting in different ways. not to mention shades. finish it off with smart blur but be sure not to overdo it to get a still crispy look. And hopefully, with those tips I've given, helps you with your endeavor.

the font is too big. i like the fact that you tried out some different font style but i do believe that a simplerfont would have been more effective, even more professional. add some lines to give it a complete finish.

Don't be overwhelmed by this comment/critique. You don't have to do everything I say. ^^ just try out things and see what actually works out for you. :)


p.s. the clouds are very nice. not perfect, but really nice. maybe try working on something you're good at first, even if it's trendwhore. from their, you can gain some confidence in yourself to try out many different styles.

i'm pretty sure that if you practice just as hard, you can actually be making great walls. ;)
I also wished you manipulated the scan. looks to "vectory" for me. Clean cut is fine but it doesn't work for this one. I wanna see more depth, more emphasis on the subject at hand. :)
