I actually made this for the Script Refinery contest, but i'm not quite sure whether this will be accepted or not. hahaha ^^
anyway, this wall is totally vectored. i found this scan at the gallery and i felt like this is the right thing for the contest. so there i made it. the postcard was a stock that i vectored and the stamp was the same (but i'm not vectoring the stamp).
i have the textless version of this wall but my internet is currently too slow to upload in imageshack so i think it will be posted later. ^^

finally, i am satisfied with this because i'm working really hard on this one. Hope you like it too ^^

I think its wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!
i REALLY enjoyed the series and i hear there is gonna be a new one closely based on the manga .I look forward to watching it, but it's gonna be some time till it drops by here.

The letter had some orthographic mistakes xD But that's not such a big deal. Ed must work more on his grammar :P

I also agree that that moment was a pretty odd twist in the show. I have another wallpaper where ed is sleeping on the desk and there are pics of winry. this wall reminds me of that one, I suppose that you got the idea for this one based on that one. anyway good wall though

Ooh, that scan makes a really nice wallpaper. I have once again bumped into a spoiler, haha. Now I don't know if I want to watch this and get sad D8 !

Anyway, one thing that sticks out for me is the vectoring. The lines are very smooth so the quality looks high, but the lines are also quite messy and choppy. For such a soft scene, I think the lines should be more delicate (neater, varying line widths, etc). It almost seems like you were trying to vector him in a pop-art style, especially with some colors coming out of the lines.

Neater lines would also match the text more, which I think is nicely done. I would have made it bigger though, since it's a very "omg aw" line, haha XD. Good job overall!

I have always loved this scan it's so sweet and really shows Ed's softer side, he's such a tormented soul it's nice to see him so at ease. This is an impressive vector and I love the old style paper of the postcard the stamp is particularly nice. The resolution is killer and the emotion is very high so it makes you feel what he must feel having lost such a good friend. Over all I think this is a solid wall it has everything going for it like color, skillful vector and sharp clean lines. Great work. A+ and a fav. :)

I rather like this wallpaper, I think it very subtly addresses the state of exhaustion that Ed finds himself in because of the guilt that he so often finds himself carrying. I also enjoy the reference to his deceased companion that he never got to bid farewell to. It very excellently illustrates the depressing predicaments that Ed and Al find themselves in throughout the series. Good job 87% out of 100
