Hi there :),

it has been a long time again since I've submitted anything. The reason is I'm working on new techniques (they aren't new, but they are new for me) and thus one of my next wallpapers will probably show that off.

I just got around this nice Lineage 2 Lineage 1 scan (thanks for the correction very much :D!) and when I saw that perfect CG I just had to wall it. It didn't get out of my mind during the whole day of work and so I started at about 9PM and now it's about 3AM... gonna upload this and leave for bed.

Long story short:
Technical side: just about 25 layers.
Reworked the scan, extended/changed the hair a bit, changed lighting to fit in better into the scene, used a stock photo once again, added some glare/some sparkles (I really like those ^^), added the castle into the mountain.

I decided to use a similar effect I used on my Saber wallpaper, just that this time I didn't just switch it on and that's it; instead I used again layer masks to pan between different layers of the same image (just with different filters on it).
It's really nothing special except for some hair retouch, which I did with my tablet - since I need that in almost-perfection for my other wallpaper.

Little title explanation: I had actually quite a few titles in my mind. But since I went for showing a dreamy scene, which might just as well become a memory of this elven girl. This scene is some kind of farewell and she's kinda looking back at the castle she came from and now is leaving for conquering the world :D... or something of that sort...
Anyway: have fun interpreting it and I hope you like it as much as I did like making it.

p.s.: if you want a 1080-HD-version of this wallpaper, let me know. I've made one (aspect ratio 1.77~), but it's not in the list of allowed wallpaper resolution aspect ratios and thus I'm probably not allowed to upload it here.
