I rather dislike Asuka... in fact I rather dislike most characters in NGE xD Anyway, what I wanted to portray in this wall was basically order and disorder, inside and outside (I hope you guys get that ^^;) In her front, or the surface if you prefer, there is only order and brightness, much like Asuka portrays herself, strong and flawless. And in her back there is this mess of feelings, fears, and emotions trailing behind her. Issues that are getting tangled with one another and slowly eating at her mind, this is how she feels inside =)
It's a mixture of my vectors and some brushes, I know it looks messy but that's kinda the point =3
