This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I can't get over the depth and vibrant colors of this print ... photoshop-wise this is most tasteful.
Though I'll say Kamichu provides great source material.
This is a great, simple wallpaper, the sort that I really like. The four girls are well posisitioned, and the houses look good behind them. I think the clouds look especially good. It has a nice, airy optomistic feel to it. And I love the expressions on all four girls, but especially Mitsue. And you didn't clutter it up with unnecessary text. Good work.
This unusual viewpoint that makes people standing on a hill under a great sky look a lot bigger than the background is awesome. It puts lots of emphasis on the foreground.
This is an excellent use of the basic image. The shadows of the leaves on the ground and on Mitsue are especially well done. Was there some work on Matsuri to make it look like she's bathed in sunlight? I like it. I prefer wallpapers with no text at all, but the text you used was unobtrusive and appropriate to the show, so I'll forgive it.
Very peaceful wall ^^
The sky is so beautiful ^^

Nice crisp simple image and a good idea for a backdrop I think! I love simple wallpapers, this one is quite nice and basic. I like the simplicity it shows and the compassion between friends it also resembles.
