I always wanted to do a vector but couldn't as it turn out to be terrible due to the fact that I didn't know how to use the pen tool. Finally, I decided to play around with it and managed to get the hang of it. With the pen tool, I gotta say, even rendering is easy. So being able to use it and without any tutorial, I decided to play around and tried to do a vector. Frankly speaking, I don't really know which layer to start with but in the end, felt that starting at the bottom most layer would be the best.
Picked Samurai Champloo to wall after watching the baseball episode which was so hilarious. Just love a few parts such as the Americans going F*** Em'! And quotes such as "An eye for an eye, the American way, all the way." LoL! What was really funny was the guys being K.O one after another by Mugen. Found him the most interesting character so decided to make him the main character in the wallpaper.
So, vectored Mugen and did the shadow line effects with some gradient to make it look more like a shadow rather than the usual 1 tone colour. Took me several days because I was redoing it again and again as sometimes I found the lines too thick. Finally it was done and I thought, why not add Jin, who is the other samurai, into the background. It was relatively easy this time due to the practices I had with Mugen.
Ok~ I know it looks a little plain but they always say, simplicity is the best! So perhaps this is one of the simple walls that can define Simple-ism.
Oh yeah~ Wanna dedicate to my friends and everyone who's been supporting me.
