Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I found this one image while browsing 4chan's wallpaper section and thought 'Yeah, this needs to be HD walled'. Then after getting a bunch of requests, I vectored it. But after vectoring it, I wasn't entirely sure what to do with the background, but decided to go with something similar to the original... A bunch of clouds. x] Meh, I suppose it could be better, but I kinda like it the way it is. And after getting positive feedback from 4chan, I decided to share it with the people here. So enjoy.

PS. Don't tell me it's low quality in areas. There are two noise layers over it. '>.>

Edit: Made lower parts of the clouds darker so that is flowed better with the vector. Thanks for the comments.

OMFG i love it. The vector of Saya's katana is perfectly executed. you live up to your reputation of vector badass, boogybro. the first vector i saw from you is Lil from Ergo Proxy, that i actually used later for my first wall.
The BG is creepy, brings an atmosphere that reminds the anime perfectly. And the lighting effect is damn well done too. It's a pity it's low quality in some area. JUST KIDDING lol
without a doubt, +FAV
keep it up, my desktop is always demanding for such quality in wallpaper :)

XD from the wall point of view, it looks really good, but, just one thing, if you look at it in thumbnail form, doesn't it look like the sunshine beyond the clouds is abit....gravitated (towards the sword)? Maybe i just don't appreciate Saya's power enough :P but that seemed weird to me

lol, no one is going to say it's low quality, unless they're blind >_> ( no offence)

just one more note: doesn't Saya's sword have those dents that allow blood to slit through to the front of the blade?

ok, maybe another note: is that two people up there?

Very nice perspect, I like the idea. The background is dark and pretty but it´s a little weird that the sky looks dark and there is still so much sunlight...

Oh, nice! Like Shinn and Gideon have said before me the clouds seem a bit off but still this is one nice wall. Being a huge Blood+ fan I love to see good walls based off the series and this is definitely a nice work of art. I love it.

I saw the CD cover for this and thought that it would make an awesome wall.

I think the outlines on the sword are a little too thick, it makes to look so cartoony. I like the background, especially how you put hagi up there. the lighting is very cool looking. Somehow the wallpaper looks better when it is a tumbnail, when its full size it doesn't look as good.

Very awesome picture of saya's new sward, i havent yet had a chance to see it in the anime, and i dont know where to look for the manga.
but the sward looks awesome, and the background for this wall is great!
the sunset is awesome.

Very very cool. The closeup of the sword and the perspective of the tower in the bg do make for a dramatic image. The clouds are a nice bg, especially that halo of light behind the charas. Wonder who'se looking so dramatic up there.
