Here's living proof that you don't need fancy effects to make a great wallpaper. It was a particularly good decision to make the character images translucent rather than keeping them in the foreground �?? it adds that dreamy feel to it. I don't think it would have worked as well if you had made the images too prominent instead.

The whole thing is well balanced, though I think the text and kanji would have worked better in a slightly darker color. Still, it's a nice work of art. I do wish you had it on a lower resolution, but I suppose I could just scale it down to fit my desktop. It is, in my opinion, the most artistic of your works. Keep it up!

This is a harmonic wall that looks like a old Movi poster.
Nothin is really staying in the front, that makes this wall perfect i think.

I love the dreamy feel of this wallpaper. I think it reflects the feelings I get when I think of The Place Promised in Our Early Days (or what I think about from the things I've heard; I haven't seen it yet but I want to) or Makoto Shinkai's works in general. The only thing I think you could improve is to make the text brighter. It's very difficult to read.

Catches the feel of the movie very well I think. I don't care so much for the English text which says more unnecessary stuff than the japanese above it, but like you stated it was in the promotional stuff...and Japanese is more vague than English
