Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I am a big fan of Rin. I decided to make a wallpaper after my recent purchase of Photoshop CS, and after I saw this beautiful and SEXY scan of her. After the initial try to submit it in a hurry. It got rejected.

Then I did some changes:
> I completely change the whole background. I searched for some nice brushes for the grass, and cloud. I included a small hut, change the cloud into a more solid one (thanks to θtrismugistus for the advice)

> Cleaning the scan more. I missed some spots earlier...

Doing all this took me 3 days. After all, I'm still an amatuer in using the filters and options...haha. I did research within this time to pull of good effects there...I really like the background!!

I would continue to contribute to this site. Please give me critiques. I am willing to take any. :)
Thank you to all that lend a hand to me in completing this one.

Wallpaper with Tohsaka - that`s what I needed. Although Rin looks great, the background is too blured and doesn`t look nice to me. It just doesn`t go with the good looking foregound.

Hmmm, it's nice enough but the quality seems to be lacking. it's too blurry in some places but not others. i love the detail and the colors of the grass and the sky is nice but that's about it. i feel she does suit the bg just that the bg needs more work, as well as your scan.

For an amateur how you call it, it is not bad.But you should fix the sca moren, the quality is not so great.What I like is the grass, the cherry blossom tree is kinda weird, too.^^' Well, good luck to continue your work and practice with some scans or so.^.^

Very cool! Love the bg, it looks so peaceful! I only have one tiny problem: the scan's quality could be a bit better. Other than that, nicely done!

The thumb looked nice, but in full view is entirely too blurry. Overall scan and image quality could definitely be improved.

Im glad you made it after your hard work. Too bad you mist my last comment that I posted after your last change to the design about 2 hours ago it would have fixed most of the comments made about this wallpaper, but oh whell good job :) keap it up

The overall concept looks nice, but the shack and trees in the background are way too blurred even if one takes perspective into consideration. I really like the scan and grass, but they also need some sharpening. Btw, what exactly are those things behind her? Are they butterflies? I can't really tell but I don't think they're necessary. Despite what may seem like lots of complaints, this wall is really pretty and the scene looks so calm and peaceful. Good job ^_^

I really like this wallpaper, it is really nice and peaceful... with the nice blue sky with clouds, and the grass. I also like the image of Rin Tohsaka. It is very lovely!! ^__^ Nice work!!

You must be kidding? You, an amateur? I don't think this work is done by an amateur at all. The wallpaper is really great... Well, you need some work with scan but other than that the BG is fine to me. Keep up the good work.
