Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Yoh, it's been a long time. Urgh, I'm always saying this phrase...but it's true hehe.

I originally planned on making a Speed Grapher wallpaper, which fits the mood of the series more than the first (urgh >_<). I promised Falh already, but there's not a single scan I could use. So while SG ended lately, a new series aired - Blood+. I couldn't help but walling Saya in her half-open class room. The wall doesn't get destroyed in the first episode, but who cares haha.

Wtf. lol...my name got mentioned O_O Well, I'm honoured...really... >_< This wall looks really, really, sexy. omg, look at those sexy red eyes. The blood is very well done, no complaints there. This seems a pretty much vectored wall, it's fine the way it is. If possible, I'd add some dust floating around and also some more reflection of light or w.e on the windows? O.o Anyway, superb job. Wow respect /o/ The only thing that bothers me really is the wall looks a bit too cartoonish in connection with the rest. Maybe blending in more texture to it would be a nice idea. Other than that it is an awesome work n_n b

Hoooly crap, that is awesome. Maybe you could distort the girl's shadow on the walls, so it would contour to the walls' edges. Lovely, lovely details though. +fav :D

Ah so cool. A blood + wall. They sure did give Saya a cool new look. I love the scan you used. And the background is perfect. I like the blood on the walls. It's great right down to the broken windows. The detail is flawless.And I have to agree this is the best Blood+ wall I have seen yet. A+ and a FAV!!. Thanks for shareing it. I think your texturing and your wall could use a little work. Try different textures for the different elements (Saya, the broken glass, the walls, etc). Also, your wall looks a bit on the 'cartoony' side, try and make it a touch more realistic to better match the character image. Overall it's a cool concept, it just needs some work.

I looked closely at this wallpaper and now that I have put it onto my desktop I can see it whenever I want to. So judging from this I cannot find any severe mistakes or parts that bother me. I am just enjoying the nice scenery concept and the well done execution (concerning your work, not Saya's xD). Makes me think of the nice hidden humour in the series.

Damn this wallpaper is HOT! The destroyed classroom with the blood stains and Saya looking off into the distance is brilliant. The classroom setting is real nice. The mood is right. Best Blood wall I have seen.

It's a good thing that you actually drew the LINEART of the whole scene. Lot of people tend to forget most of the objects (close ones) need lineart just like the scan/characters, in order to make the scene much more believable. That said though, the lineart of the background is still a bit too thick and bold: Observe the outlines of Saya for example, their thickness and especially their colour, then basing on that information draw the the lineart of the background remembering not to make them thicker than that. And tweak the opacity of the lineart to a value that is among the 80%-90% range, that way the black of the lines won't look that black and it will also mix a bit with the colour of the layers under it, blending everything in a better way. It's a simple and stupid trick but it increases greatly the "animeish" feeling that this wallpaper could potentially have. The wooden ceiling is ok, maybe it should be a bit darker at the front since it appears that light source is pretty intense and it's coming straight towards Saya. The door is ok, maybe a bit too simple but well.. it's ok.

Anyway, very cool wallpaper overall, and I appreaciate that there's actually people who attempts at drawing a scenic on their own using lineart, much props for that. :)
