Well I just started watching Samurai Champloo and am really starting to like it...ok it's not as good as it's predocessor the great COWBOY BEBOP but it's entertaining and the animation/ fight scenes are excellent.

Anyway there is a vector looking image of Mugen and Jin in the Opening Theme of the show that I saw and just said to myself that I had to use it to make a wall. At first I thought I would just re-CG the image and make a wall from that but when I finished I decided that I wanted to take this wall in a new direction and different from anything I've ever seen or done before. It's quite abstract if I do say so myself. I applied quite a few textures and layers to get the mosaic artistic look to it and I think that the use of these patterns adds a very nice elegant feel to the wall...not to mention it sure brightens it up alot. Each level of the image uses different colors and patterns to express that portion of the images characteristics and also make it stand out from the surroundings.
