Hello again everyone! Here is a wall that is a little different from the others I have submitted. This one features, as the name may have given away, the world's greatest detective! Who is the man of mystery you may ask? Death Note fans will know, and everyone else...well his name is all over this piece! (o_o) emoticon

Lol thanks to both of you for the comments, and yes it took quite a bit of time to get that text done. :| emoticon

I was kind of thinking along the lines of how for the longest time all you see is the letter L during the manga whenever L appears. Slowly he is revealed in full, kind of like puzzle pieces coming together. I wanted to catch that, so I tried it with a bunch of L's. But enough of that... 9(>_>) emoticon

And as far as ideas, i got a million of em! |(n_n)| emoticon

Except, now that I look at it closer you need more depth. Make the L's smaller or bigger giving variation. Also Transparency.

Ah, so it's got a mesh of 'L's' covering the image. Interesting. Before I saw it closer, I thought it was a puzzle-piece motif that I saw (which also would've been appropriate), but this is good, too. I don't think I've seen someone do an L wall using this kind of design. I like it.

I like the mosaic attributed look of this piece, it could have easily become overwhelming with too much going on in the piece. But, everything is used well enough to contribute to the overall idea of the image.

The only crit I possibly have is that it would helped to make the text "the World's Greatest Detective" contrast a little more with the background, maybe the make the font a little more distinctive in comparison to the background? Or take it out entirely? Just some ideas.

Anyways, great piece overall. Keep up the work, the more experience you'll gain and the greater work you'll produce.
