After seeing this beautiful vector from neb1236, i couldn't let it sleep on the computer; so i decided to do a wallpaper. I really like the blue of the background since it really fits with kirche in bikini ;-)
I think the texturation isn't bad either; so enjoy.
I put the leaves only under the character because i hate having something covering the character and i think it looks better this way.

All comments & fav are welcome; i always appreciate reading them so don't hold back.

Judging by the vector on neb1236's homepage (which I see is almost all of this wallpaper), it looks like you did about 5% of this wallpaper (added some random background and a light texture). Not to mention I find it very, uh... digusting (but that's personal opinion)

Gotta agree with helix-designs...... if you used a vector made by somebody else, then all i can see that you have done is added a small portion of background (which basically looks like a stock image of a pattern), and used an effect over the top of the wallpaper.
While it looks nice, minimal effort was put into this. :(
I'm actually surprised this didn't end up in Session Zero.

When i do a wallpaper it's on the purpose to like it and put it in my desktop. My aim is to obtain a whole composition which is a good result and not to put the more things in it to claim i'm the more technical waller. I liked the way it turned out; so i decided to share it for other people to enjoy too. I used differents effects, layers and textures to obtain this result. the cloks you see in the rear are not stock photos but a texture with clocks in it. You're free to have your opinion and to not like the blueish nuance obtained.
You're free to think that only putting leaves in the rear isn't enough but as you can see the character takes nearly all the background; so what can you add if you where me without rendering it too messy ? And without covering the character since i've already said that i don't like this ?

I gotta agree it is kind of simple, but I wouldn't say it's an awful work. On the contrary, maybe its simpleness proves that not only those walls, which are full of different effects, could look rather beautiful.

Background is of minimalist design style which is still decently laid out. Just because a character image is large, and leaves little room for more sophisticated/busy backgrounds doesn't deem a wallpaper as lazy.

Please give thought to the above and the wallpaper's context before lashing out.

I have to agree with the comments above (not the ones just saying "hawt" ._.). This looks like minimal effort. Sure, you put a very simple background and texture over someone else's vector that you cropped so that it takes up the entire wall. The original vector isn't that large and you could have been much more creative with it rather than crop off part of it and call it a wall. Sorry to sound harsh..
