Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Well now, I am happy with this one, so much so, that I'm using it as my own wallpaper right now. xxxholic is a great series and Yuko is my favorite Clamp character to come by in awhile. And there you are. I had to do some creative editing to add the missing pieces of the smoke...yes, another vector by me. I colored her eyes yellow because in a scan I found, her eyes were this color and since Clamp doesn't seem to know wich color her eyes really are, I'll just leave it at that.
Oh, and the title is from a very old Depeche Mode album called: Speak and Spell...I just thought it sounded cool.
I really like the wallie, very nicely done the only thing that bothers me is the base of the flame and inside looks roughly done, maybe blending it or sharpening it up would make it look a little better. But still really good!

It remind me of Sailor moon the 1st Series. I mean It remind of me: "Jack Diet collect energy from innocent people"
It is the same pose but effect were different.
However, I like her feeling of eyes.
Yuko is the bomb diggity. I love this wall. While some people may think the BG is TOO simple, I think it's perfect simply because it would have been nigh next to impossible to fill all that negative space. Which, by the way is handled well. The vector itself is outstanding. This wall is clean, simple; and perfect. Great job.
Interesting looking wallpaper. it's very simple and neat. i like how the image is centered, it gives a nice balance. i don't even think the text on the side is necessary. good job.

Eheh Clamp likes to make black parts merge together in their art and I think it was a cool idea to restitute it as a wallpaper. The choice of colours complements well each others although just the way you colored the flame, it would have been nice to make Yuuko's eye like golden shining with some neat gradient. A bit more details in the flame could add a nice touch too.
