After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I went for an abstract feel
took about 1.5 hours to clean the scan
about 3 hours for the actual wall
a large chunk of time was taken up trying different brushes since I don't have much experience with them
At first I thought using the default maple leaves brush was lame but then it looked OK so I kept it '-'
made in widescreen (1920x1200) and personally I think it looks best that way
I like the concept; very clean and simple. I would've liked it better if there were a bit more to it though. I feel it's a bit too simple. Also, the lighting seems a bit haphazardly done and some sort of floor would be nice. Otherwise, good wall with great potential.
Anti-Aliasing is used to remove jagged edges, not create them. While I do understand that using something that is stark white on a black background that extraction is hard to pull off, it is doable.

will do it when I have a few spare hours
Pretty simple effects but they look cool, fitting the theme of the wallpaper in general. Though... the brushes over the scan blend a bit weird. Nice text, too.

causes some of the characters being hide away.
giving the idea that all the action in colors starts from the shadows where she lies...

The wall is brilliantly executed - especially the choice of which part of the scan you used.
I personally never would have looked at that scan
and thought that a wall featuring just the legs would turn out so well.

I don't recognize half of the characters, so it makes it feel a bit weird but overall I like it.
