Good interpretation of rain. Don't know why theres a pillar wall there but nice overall.

Your concept is pretty nice but i think everything in the background seems a little flat like just a bunch of natural brushes @__@.. try to put some depth by adding shadows ^^ it'll turn this piece into something really nice

The background is pretty nice. I like the dark clouds, it makes good use of the scan, since Rei is holding an umbrella and all, and the sky in the wall looks like it's about to rain. The color of the trees and those pillars are pretty cool, the way you made one white and the other black, instead of just plain original colors (and by that I meant the tree would be brown, and the leaves would be green). The fog effect is awesome as well. And the lighting on Rei is top notice. Good job!
