After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I think a vector is something fully scalable from the source file (ie: svg, ai and so on) without lose on quality. Painting using vector mask is nice and all but not really vector from my point of view. But I am perhaps a little extremist on this subject.

@`akiranyo: What's the limit for something to be a vector ? "It's fully scalable from source file so it's a vector!", "It's a vector, I used vector to do it!" or "Look, the pinky finger is vectored so it's a vector!" I think VD rules should more explicit.

    Hey peoples! Wow haven't uploaded anything in a while .( )# emoticon Oh well, I saw this image on a manga page and was like OMG MUST HAVE!! I vectored the image and put him in water since that's what he was in when I cut him out. I messed with the water and added some film grain. This is my second attempt, please be nice in the critiques, I'm delicate _(._.)_ emoticon

    Hmm. I love the fact that you decided to put some color in the water but, the water's not working too well. X(( It's too grainy and it's not blending also. Oh yeah! There's something bothering me, what are those on his body? Splashes of water? Or scars? It seems to stick out a bit. Also, the text that you used is a big no no. It's distracting too much.

    @ Horseradish, I think the lines on the character's body is the manga's artist way of showing shadows..??

    I agree with them though. I recommend taking off the grain filter from the water, it doesn't match the style compared to the vector. Try maybe putting just one smaller Blur filter on the vector, to soften him up a bit. The big X is bad quality, try just typing it on bigger size. The white background needs to be filled with something. Maybe you can try to fill it in with some clouds or a far away beach scene. There should be some tutorials on Deviantart.com. Lookin good so far, can't wait to see it done!

    Oh wow! I really like where this wallpaper is going. This scan of Xanxus is yummy too. I believe those are his scars on his body arent they? The water does need a little work as already said. Try experimenting with other texts too. Please keep working on this! I can't wait to see it finished. Nice work.

    Like everyone's already said, the water needs a lot more work, it doesn't look smooth enough. Also, the large "X" is rather pixelated.

    Execution, not so hot.
    The water is so flat and the colors are unwater-like to me.
    Doesn't seems like he's stending in the water either, work on blending them together!
    Make him look wet! It'll add hotness to the picture XD and it's only natural to be wet when in water,haha
    The font and the placement of the word kills it. Move it to the right side and lower it a bit.
    Don't leave the sky to be just a white blank spot! Work on it!!
