After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I found Hukes' work here and I decided to make a wallpaper out of it.
I vectored and painted the scan, but this time I focused more on painting. It's like 70% painting 30% vector... something like that. It took me 12 hrs+ or so in doing the character.
I made use of checker / chess boxes as BG. I was again at the point of indecision whether or not to put textures. I finally decided to place textures in there because ...well for me it looked like it kinda rocked! (Yeah!)
EDIT: moved the text a little to the center

I like the wall. The character looks amazing! The checkers background looks very nice too, but I am not that fond of that text though. That grungy effect on the background is well suited imo, but I think you should have splitted it up at the horizon instead of (as it appears to me) one layer grunge on top to create the effect of a grungy back wall and a grungy floor. But in overall it is a nice wallpaper. Keep it up!
Black rock shooter is one of my favorite series. And the effect of reflection looks great, espeacially in the color of blue.
It seems to be simple, but still I like it very much.
