Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Very nice wall.. it has an unusual look to it and the whole wall flows with the look of the scan. Despite the image heavy left side, it still feels fairly balanced. Only thing I would have changed to add more balance would be to put a couple birds towards teh right side fo the wall. Nice job.. this is my current desktop. +fav
As everyone else has said, it's a really nice wall. My only suggestion would be to make the large white wings behind her a bit translucent. Doing so would add a bit of depth and allow you to show a bit of the clouds behind her through the wings.
I must confess I was owner of all four volumes of the manga... but I didn't like it at all and sold it later. You have done very good aftertouch in order to achieve such a clean a nice atmosphere.. I love the way you present us the "fourth" clover :) I think one of the scans (either at the beginning or at the end) of one of the books looks quite similar - but this is clearly much more than just simple cutting... It really looks alive. Nice work!
This is a beutiful wallpaper. For some reason even before i read your comment about wanting to show her being alone and isolated I felt that she seemed resigned to her fate. So IMO you did an excellent job in that aspect, at least to me lol. Great job!
I like the background a lot. It looks quite unique. I like the thing on the background that look like butterfly wings, it looks wicked awesome. And I never read the manga, so I don't know what those wings are coming out of, but it looks pretty cool, the colors go great with the scan.. The birds look great as well, but I think butterflies would look better. =P The only minor problem I see with the wall, is her face is a little blurry, but, it's nothing major, the wall still looks great either way. Very nice job!

Beautiful work: you have really captured Clover in this wallpaper! Birds, our caged heroine, wires, and intricate metalwork. The colours are also quite nice, and stay simple: too much colour would have runined this. Love it!
