Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Just wanted to upload one of my wallpapers I made a while back of Full Metal Panic. Only gripe I have is I wish I could've found a higher res pic of the poster image.

Edit (10/29/05): New poster image to the left (which was found here ^^). It was also fit into the BG a bit better, plus the page curl (which I like to keep for that less-than-pristine-look) is now less exaggerated ^^.
I love the idea for the wall, but yeah like you said the source photos could have been better. With an LCD if I stretch it to make it into a true "wall" to take up the entire screen it looks pretty pixellated.
One of the most original ideas I've seen yet on these forums though. I'd love to see more of your work.
Love it...great stell and bullets...and tape even...large image could have been better quality...but no biggy...something different which i always appreciate...keep it going

I Love this wallpaper. It really portrays what Full Metal Panic! is aboput, not just about fighting and saving the world, but the funny moments that make this series enjoyable and lovable to watch on and on...I like the pictures and the tape effects on the metal board. I also like the bullet holes since Souske-chan is always pulling ut his gin to save Chidori. Keep up the great work.
