As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. This be another Yuuko wallpaper ('cause nobody *really* gets tired of this diva, yeah?). As per tradition, I reserved the background for everyone's favorite doormat, Watanuki. I got the raws from 4chan and I believe they were lifted from the manga, them being originally in grayscale and all.

After countless hours of listening to "Beauty and Stupid" on loop, I've decided to make a wallpaper that 1) played with hot colors and 2) a tad sensual. Yuuko's fishnet stockings nicked the second criterion on the mark but I had trouble setting the color scheme. ^_^'

Ukiyo-e, it seemed, was the answer thus the solid lines and patterns. And besides, the raws were shouting "TRADITIONAL!" so it was best to twist them into a traditional, albeit retro, look.

Wow, I'm really impressed by this. I love how you put the scans together to create this background with a unique concept. The colors are what caught by eyes first, though, because they're just so pretty and go perfectly with the sensual theme. I really love everything about this wall. You did a magnificent job! :hi5:

It's a very nice wallpaper, although I think the picture doesn't fit the wallpaper so much. I think it is still good picture.

The style is very fitting to the personallity that is projected from our visable lass. An image comes to mind as to what we should expect and wish for and that is always something that should be present in one form or another in art. Very nicely done and congrats to all who condributed to this design.

The coloring is very good, and it not only shouts TRADITIONAL!, it's also practically screaming SEXY! I love the pattern prints on the clothing and the area above Yuuko...really brings out the ukiyo-e flavor. The print of the dragon on the red wall is also very innovative. And the shadow of the guy in the background simply complements Yuuko in the foreground!

Great work. The thumbnail doesn't do it justice. Firstly: great, fun concept - working Yuuko's character and personality into the wall. Secondly: love the colours and the composition. A psychedelic explosion of colours and gorgeous patterns. Love the shadow behind the screen. Not too sure green in the main text works so well though, but that's a minor thing. Very nice!
