This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Hade a wallpaper of one of my favorit anime. Was inspired by one of the fight scene in the bamboo forest.

I like the conrast between the traditional Japanese style art work in the background and the modern cell-shaded characters in the foreground. :-)

Great composition, love the character pictures and the crayon effect. Don't really know about the shine on mugen's sword though...kinda steals the picture.

I have seen another wallpaper with the same image, but a different background. But this one is so much better. Those bamboo leaves are somewhat a lot more in tone with the series style!
