This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
@Damo: Well when I click on it to sign it in, it takes a while to load and then a message appears saying "click troubleshoot and we'll repair the problem" Doesn't tell me what the problem is after.

Basically remade the scan (because Yumi-chan was evil and told me to fill vector it, but I cheated =X) Took a while to vector though, as the scan's shadows confused me with the lines. =\ Original scan <-- evil green vest and line shadows. T-T

I think the sky is very well blended, and Byakuya looks like he fits right in with his personality and all (which in the end doesn't turn out to be true for those that know what i'm talking about ^_^) however at the same time he seems to stand out a little too much from the background, like he's really not a part of it. The falling snow helps, but doesn't quite make up for it. Other then that very good!

I love this wall. Even when you were making it, I didn't want to comment because I liked it. It just kept getting better and better. Gerat job with the vectering and background. Love it.

No way...are you telling me that this is the second wallpaper you've made in your life...that can't be right because this looks awsome for a second try. I love the blurry icy backround, it seems out of focus wich makes Byakuya come out even more, kinda shows him to be truly lonely...I don't know his entire story yet but that's how I feel. Great work.
Gd choice of background. just the rite amount of snow, so that it s not congested. but i think one of your filter effect has got onto Byakuya. His complete character has got a poster effect on it! I think putting him on top of all layer would be better. (jus me)
