This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
@Damo: Well when I click on it to sign it in, it takes a while to load and then a message appears saying "click troubleshoot and we'll repair the problem" Doesn't tell me what the problem is after.

The bird somehow changes the wallpaper alot, because the bird wasn't suppose to be there in the original... But still a very good wallpaper tho. I think lighting it up would be nice
Beautiful! lol Like the girl, and her wings plus the background sky which is very natural ^^ the sea is nice too, gives a relaxing effect ;) The girl blends in well too ^^
I think the lightning is awesome. this actually the first time ive seen the anime..but from wat ive seen on these wallies .. they've rally made me wanna download and watch it
Great picture. i don't really like all the colors in the wallpaper but it adds a complexity to it that looks intense. good job and keep upt he great work
