Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Um...the wallpaper is based on a book I read in 6th grade. I just found the book and decide to make a wallpaper based on its storyline. The book is basically about a window that when you jump through it you can go back in the past ^^;;
I found the scan here; texture from DA! (thank-you). Stock photo were used.

You know, I think I like the wall better than the scan itself! ^-^; My main complaint is about the words; I'm very picky about words on walls. I don't like the font, I don't like the size, but I can't think of how to change it to make it better. If you just got rid of them altogether, it might help, but then that part might look a little empty. So, I'm not quite sure what to suggest there. On the plus side, the curtains blend wonderfully with the background, the colors and patterns are fabulous. Good job!
Very lovely job on the wallpaper :) I don't really like the position where you placed the test. Its really distracting :S You can see clouds through the window? o_o Some clouds seem too dark >.>;; Some birds would be nice :)

That's the kind of window that I need...one where the past awaits me behind it. Though I've never remembered my past to be that bright...or happy for that matter...

Personally, the text looks a bit plain to me =P It's fine the way it is, don't mistake me XD Anyway, I'm not leaving this wall alone without a fave =D
The only problem I have is the line separating the titles..its too thick, also..the font...doesn't fit..at all, this is my rule when it comes to title fonts; "when in doubt, Times New Roman works just fine".

But seriously, all the effects fits so smoothly together. The birds in the background look nice, the blanket fades well, and, though I really can't quite tell what is actually faded in the background, it still gives a nice overall feeling to the wall.
