Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I made this wall allong time ago, but didnt have a chance to upload it because I was being lazy. Anywayz, with the help of people who replied to me in session zero, I changed the wall a little. You see, I have this obsession thing with geishas and NO I'm not lesbian. I just think that they're so...I don't know, mysterious?
Has anyone ever read the Memoirs of A Geisha? Its such a great book, the movie is coming out!! ><
I decided to make Fuu look like a geisha, kind of. I got this idea when I saw the pic of her. you see how the nape of her neck is exposed, well its suppose to be erotic to the japanese men as to how American men find the legs sexy.
I love samurai champloo. XD and i love this wallie. you did a great job on vectoring it. its so clean and thats the most important part. the out lining is perfect. so far, i dont c a single thing that is out of place. ^_^

Nice! Solid piece of vector work, and the overall composition looks good :) I wish there was a little more variation/gradation in the color of the flowers, especially the ones in the foreground. Good job though! I like the stylishness of this wall :)
Very nice concept. I love the colors and the little rouge you added near her eyes to make her look like a geisha even more. Nice simple work :D oh and I love the lines as well.

Yeah beautiful wall indeed, nice simple compostion and nice choice of colors. It makes Fuu look sensuous indeed. And the vector work, awesome. Overall it's a great and nicely done wall!
Nice one. As the first poster said, keeping it simple and clean is very otfen the best way to go. To overpack stuff with useless texts, extra pics, and patern heavy backgrounds is just annoying in the long run.
