Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I found a screenshot of Motoko surfing the web on the net and decided to vector it(original size was 640x480). I re-created the entire background and changed it as I went along, then added the wires and overlay and soft light effects.
This is my first real attempt at a tech wallpaper, so let me know how it turned out. :)

This a very crazy and nice cartoon
it use a lot of computer anime
it make it very cool and all the stuff is moving very smooth and not like those cartoon which is draw by hand
by now a lot anime is using computer to help
but of course computer is like more that real in some ways
this one is a very cool wallpaper though
I want to watch to cartoon first then I will know more

The thing with very popular shows is that for every good wallpaper you get a dozen of bad ones. This, fortunately, is of the former. :D Awesomeness, really captures the whole Ghost In The Shell feel, while still being very "fresh". Great work there! *applause*
Wow! totally cool!! The wall is awsome, great, cool, stylisgh, moody, lovely, enjotyful, & beautiful.. Major looks totally cool & her face is sweet! The vectoring..woa..it's awsome & cool!! Exellent! The bg is soo stylish & cool, & I love the techno style.. matches very well with GITS. The white thingy in front of her head is awsome!! Awsome job!! I'll definately add this to my favs!! Ive never seen ghost in the shell. a friend was always telling me about it .. never even seen images till this. damn this is a nice wallpaper. very nice.. i might even go watch it now :D
Near perfect! Great quality, high-res and a great choice of colour. The only thing I dislike is the lettering at the bottom left of the wallpaper, but that's a matter of personal taste. Otherwise, it is excellent. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
