This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Whew... my next wallpaper. I decided to go on a lighter note since I have this new found thing for Carnelian art. This is the first part of the Carnelian Project that I have planned, and I hope that they all turn out well.
To the wallpaper. This wallpaper was one week worth of work. Only because I couldn't decide on what kind of background to put her in. Ranging from a sunset scene on the beach, to a day resting on a flowery field. It was a nightmare trying to think up of a background, and all of them failed after the other. I finally ended up using her in a sky scence, and I hope that it fits her image well enough. I tried to get my point across as best as I can, and I hope that you all see it. :) Extracting her, even though she was in a plain white background, was still considered work. Some of the flowers that is placed on her head and ankle kept disappearing, so I had to lasso tool the leftovers. I hope that I cleaned it well enough.
Anyway, enough talk from my end. I hope that you enjoy my latest wallpaper! As always, comments and criticism is always appreciated!
Very cute and pretty. The soft colors are feminine, but not overly cutesy/girly.
The only things I would suggest about this wall is...the drop shadow looks a little odd, and the clouds overlapping the character make an odd texture close up.

I love this wall. The simplicity is beautiful. The scan's of great quality too. I like clouds. The light whip of the cloud is a nice little touch. The part where the character is in the sky needs to blend more though. I like the color scheme. Nice work!
