While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I made the background for this wall before I had an image picked out. I really like how the colors and textures turned out.

The FB scan was kinda tough. I wanted to preserve that manga-ish look, so I smudged everything to try and capture that look (hopefully I suceeded). Anyway, I added shadow behind that characters to give it dimension.

There were a lot of conflicting opinions on this wall, so ultimately, I made the final changes that I liked. Thanks to everyone that commented! :D

Wow love the really unique and colourful background looks great. I have to say the text looks really nice, which can be hard to achieve on wallpapers. I think the scan is cool ^^ lol specially that cats face...um I think the scan needs to be a tad brighter or something just coz the background is so colourful and it is duller :P. Apart from that its great ^^-Shira

Adorable! I think you captured really well the happy, cute aspect of this series really well. Did you get the "Love and Joy" idea from an AMV, by any chance? Because I saw an AMV called that and it has the same happy/cute/adorable feel that your wallpaper has.

This is the best Fruits Basket wall I've ever seen. It does have a manga feel, which is good since in my opinion the art in the anime was very low quality. What sets this wall apart is the amazing colorful background. I love it.
