Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Hey guys its a new wall! And I tell you it lagged my comp like crazy making all the fine details in this (getting right down to the last pixel). It took me a week or so to finish this off but everything came out alright! So why do you think I chose this anime? Well I started to watch it and I thought to myself...wow I really got to make a wall on this...and I did. I designed a Cityscape like background with a georgeous planet that took about 2 hours to do. All the Buildings you see there was made by me and added some realistic objects as well, like the plane lights. I can go on and on with this being I was on the comp the entire time making this :P but I'll just get to the last point and thats Yuji and Shana. Ok I know this scan is overused but being that it was the closest to not being cut off, I used it. I added a special effect of her Necklace containing the flame haze she has with her and gave it a little power (noticing it looked too dull overall). I then also added reflections to the sword...added a bit of other special effects as well like the clouds and such. Anyway I'm done for this month and Christmas as I am taking a break for a bit. Need to be with my family and all, I wish you all to have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Detailed background *points to small storm brewing... The only thing is the way the character's are glowing seems different from the rest of the wall... And your choice of font for "The Night Shift" X( Gaaaaah! But overall spiffeh as always XD
Wow this is...WOW..I love it!!...I like the city scape in the back..and the sky is beautiful.....the haze around the planet and the shooting star...the too figures fit to a T...everything fits and I like the feel of like a calm before the storm....What can I say I love walls at night...A++ and a fav...Thanks for shareing it (*^_^*)

It seems a bit too cliche. The gray clouds seem to blend with the planet, but not with the blue skies. The scan seems too blurry. The blueness on the water cuts into the darkness of the city, clouds etc. The glow of the planet is erm.. too bright? Enough with the criticism~ I like the pwetty shooting star :3 The concept is good, but it seems you over did it ToT HOWEVER, you could have put more detail into the build they're standing on- as well as in the clouds, and the water. The cities look really nice tho ^^

GREAT!after watching the series I am scurrying everywhere for decent wallpaper of shakugan no shana and this is simply exactly what I want , the sharpness and brightness (although it's night) is well made. do you have ... maybe another version like morning maybe ?

There are some quality elements here, but the main thing that bothers me is that the bg is sharper than the scan.
Also, the upper atmosphere seems non-existent... You can see right into space.
The idea is good, but the final result seems a bit cluttered and the colors don't match too well.
Good work on the details, though.
