This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Another wallpaper by me, and it's green, again. I broke up with my boyfriend few days ago and I always get into artistic mode when I'm sad, so I decided to use my feelings to make this :P and I'm happy with the result.
The background uses three different textures and two brushes from Aethereality.net. Rest is photoshop brushes and mine. The image is from here and I think it fits nicely to it. It was suppose to be blue first but I dont want anymore dark as it is already on when I look outside of window. So I tried to bring out summerish feeling.
Very nice. Like the texuring and coloring choices, and with this scan the wall possesses an almost ethereal quality that I like a lot. sorry about you boyfriend.
Love the soft green effect of the picture and the way you've got the character looking so solumn and sad it really matches the love story of the game. Good Work.
Amazing desktop. Sorry about the break up. I like the how Yuna fades into the green of the desktop. The spirals do seem to take away from the piece a little, but they still look great. I love the text you used, it really flows with the rest of the piece. The texture for the body of the piece is also great. Just a great piece.
