Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

You won't be able to find the scan anywhere else.. not even magazines =P because the couple were vectored from screenshots of the opening sequence.
I had to arrange those shots then vectoring it albeit the super lack of details (some of the important details and shadings are made up by me). It's not perfect, but I've tried to make it as close as possible. I think I did a fair job there ^_^'
I'm currently watching this series.. it's really good... as expected from Gonzo productions.. The storyline is appealing, and the graphics are awesome... It's about Gennosuke and Oboro (the couple). Gennosuke is from Kouga Tsuba Village, and Oboro is from Iga Manji Valley. Both ninja factions are in the brink of war and feudal assasinations. They are lovers that deemed to kill each other. >_< How tragic...
Background is also entirely made from scratch.. Kalico said I am allowed to use a moon in there... so ... I include a moon, but only as a visual hint, so it won't distract much attention from the couple.

I already liked it during its wip so it's definetely as favourite lol. Altough there's *sigh* a moon at least you've managed to not make it so "invasive" in the whole composition. Good job ^^
You do capture the essence of what this anime is all about. Love and hope admist the brink of despair. Good work on the vector work. It does look clean and showed a lot of hard work in your composition. Well done!

Great wallpaper. I've only skimmed a few episode of the anime (though I always download during release day) but it looks beautiful and happy even though it's a Romeo & Juliet-type setting for their romance.
Are those sakura petals or feathers? If they are sakura petals, it looks nice in white and goes along with everything.
I love this so much!! I haven't been able to find any walls on this series, maybe cos it's so new. but great effort! love the background, goes very well with the scene
