Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Well, it's about time I do a wall =P
This one actually took a pretty short time because I just grabbed some things from previous walls and mixed them in. The vegetation in the foreground was a bit weird at first, but after a few adjustments and lighting, the results were satisfactory. Why texture? If you guys have watched the movie, the sceneries are truly magnificent. The Japanese greenery makes the movie so...'earthy'. So I just found it appropriate to apply an 'earthy' texture to this wall =P

Im a slave of miyazaki, there's a reason why i keep delaying making a mononoke wall, coz i want it to be extremely good, which i cand do just yet

anyhoo, the trees are pixelly, the scan is over saturated, and errr the blurred overlay made it look like san is in front of a painted wall, the shrub should have maybe a greenish hue coz it's close enough for us to see the details
the cloud is too grainy...tho i like the forest you used :3 lol

... :) There aren't enough Hayao Miyazaki walls out there... :P This one is nice, you know about the blurriness already. The sky is also... really bright o_o Interesting text work though :) And the overall composition is nice. There definitely needs to be more Miyazaki walls out there...
I'd never expect that I'd see another Princess Mononoke wallpaper ever in my life. The only ones that I had were all taken from Animewallpapers.com as well from some unknown Princess Mononoke fansites. XD
Truly a masterpiece as always. The feeling of being dwarfed by the surrounding nature hangs heavily in this work due to the use of both horizon spanning forest tops and close up flora (the tree and bushes.
And having the whole wallpaper bathed in sunset hues creates a really sombre mood which matches the characters well.
And I think the blur effect on the characters are nice.
I love it. There aren't enough Princess Mononoke wallpapers out there. I especially love how Morro is standing on the edge of the cliff, looking out into the world. The wall has a very... large feel to it. Like there's a huge world she's looking at.
Gawd I love this. You've used some techniques I don't often see in most walls, such as keeping the background around the scan faint and blurred, making San and the wolf stand out. I love it HK. Great fricking job! Much love on this wall. =D
