Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I was trying to hurry up and finish this wall in time before November ended and in time for Thanksgiving. Basically it is a continuation of my passion for the seasons, starting with October Breeze. I worked on it in the kitchen while helping my mom cook and prepare the many foods ^_^
With the leaves pretty much all have fallen of Autumn, we have though Mother Nature's beautiful harvest to share with our loved ones. So let's be thankful as Autumn draws to a close.
The wall took about two days. Hardest--> The scan is of a watercolor style of drawing. So I had to match the entire backdrop to that style of art. Harder--> I wanted the clouds to have that dark, ominious shadowing as you do see in sunsets. Fun Part--> The making of the many brushes you see such as the windmill, crows and pieces of wheat flying about her.
So Please Enjoy!
And gracious appreciation for all comments and suggestions!
Very Nice :) It's the perfect Sakura Autumn Wall. The time of day especially helps all the colors blend together really well, great job. (Always welcoming new sakura walls :))
Stunning work. Everything goes great to together from the flow to the colors and everything mixed together. I'm definately adding this to my favorites.
Wow this is amazing! i love the background and it definetly has a good Autumn feel to it! the detail is so awesome along with the birds and extraction of the scan looks good to! ugh none of that wouldve been fun to me, probably why i cant make great wallpapers <.<
but you did a wonderful and exellant job!
I think you did a wonderful job ^_^ I epecially like the background and the colors you used. Everything goes together really well. :) Keep up the good work!
Ooh. Beautiful. I love the background. Sakura looks so cute. The only thing that really bugs me is the extraction of the hairs that stand up. But that's only if you really look at it. Sorry about it being a real small detail.
I really like the color and composition of this wall, but Sakura doesn't blend well with the background, making it look kinda sloppy (neither does the wheat she's holding).
