Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I know this scan has been walled before, but I've always liked Nimya's character, and the other walls with this scan are generally scenic pictures with clouds or grass or other such things. However, I had an entirely different purpose in mind. Nimya's story always reminds me of Leonardo Da Vinci - the sketches in the encyclopedia are very much in Da Vinci's styles, as are the different drawings of the wings for her flyer. However, it wasn't until I saw "Making Da Vinci's Dream Machines" that I finally understood the pose she was drawn in for the JP rerelease of DVD 4. The show discusses efforts to create two machines from Da Vinci's drawings, but also discussed Da Vinci's other scientific treatsies, including the famous sketch of the Vitruvian Man (also know as the Proportions of Man.) The spread-eagled man looked just like Nimya's pose, and I don't think it's coincedence. So I decided to redraw the scan in the same style. This involved redrawing the entire right side of the image as well as her feet, which were directly modeled off the original Vitruvian Man sketch. Add some textures and make it sketchy. Something different, hm?

Nice, Da Vinci style to it, and the textures fit in nicely. :) Nice re-drawing, but I think the legs are a bit out of proportion, but I unno, maybe it's just me. =\ The text is awesome. XP

Well, this is fairly different from the otehr wallied I have seen by far here in Animepaper.net. But that is what I like about it. Lotsa great anime wallies. ^^ Hmm. The wallpaper is based on Da Vinci's style. That is unique. What a creative mind you have. Eheh. ^^ The left leg does seem to be out of proportion, but I barely noticed it so it doesn't really count. I love this wallpaper lots. Unique and fresh. Keep up the great work!

Hmm...certainly a unique wall, which I like ;) Don't you think her legs are a bit too muscular? XDD Anyway, I'd like to see more of the da Vinci sketch things in this wall if you don't mind =X For now, it looks a bit plain x_x Anyway, I don't think it makes a diff for this wall, esp it's composition =P
Like cibo said, its very original. lol this is the very first time for me to c a wallpaper such as this one. you used your amazing talents to make this wallpaper and i think its extrodinary.
