Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
They're not exactly _new_ anymore, but I don't visit the scan gallery often. I've fallen in love with these scans from GSD, so I'm on a walling spree.
Second in the series, I present Lacus Clyne - Withering Flower. Nothing much to say on this one, besides the extraction being a pain. I modified the scan a bit, as her smile was a bit wide and strange-looking. If you couldn't tell by now, the background is the bridge of Eternal. Looking at various screenshots and sources, I built the whole bridge out of scratch. Overall, I think it was recreated fairly well, besides the difficulty I had with the round part meeting the wall. o_______o;;
As for the title? Well... Lacus, the beautiful princess, is the flower... and in the scan, the pose expresses (atleast to me...) fatigue... so that's where 'withering' comes from. Well, doesn't really matter anyways - there's no text on it. ;)
Very beautiful wallpaper. I like it. Great quality on the character and the background. And one more thing...she really deserves all the lights shining on her B).
Lacus and wallpaper, and nothing can go wrong ^^" Lacus, Eternity and wallpaper = total awesomeness ^^" Anyways the colors are great, and although I liked Lacus-san's hair better in GS as in GSD, but she's still beautiful ^^" Nice work ^^
Interestin background . . . you did a great job on it. I like this picture of Lacus . . . she is very beaustiful! :D Maybe some text it will be nice . . . i think. But this is only my opinion. :D Anyway, i really like it . . . great job. :D
I normally don't like Gundam Seed (or anything that has to do with it), I find that its plot is dry, and the english voice acting (I haven't heard the Japanese voice acting) uninspired, but this wallpaper caught my eye.
The texture of the wallpaper has a "Paper" look to it, and the colors are good, but pretty bland, I would have spent time making them more vibrant.
It's so cool and pretty!!
Great job on the extraction! It's good you adjusted the smile..cause in the orginal scan it looked scary...
Lovely job on the bg! It looks really cool! Great job on making it from scratch! Because it really looks real!
Love the texture and the lighting! I give it a 100/10! XD
I'm also adding to my fav!!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this from the thumbnail, but seeing it up close is breathtaking. I love the overall texture to this wall, and Lacus looks beautiful in your extraction. Great job.
This is the seconds simple wallpaper I have seen around here, and it's great! I like what you did with the scan, and the BG looks cool. You did an awesome job and I give you a lot of kudos, since it probably took long to make.

Wow, this wallpaper is amazing. The background was made outta scratch?!? Wow. I gotta give you props for that. The composition is excellent, and the effects are amazing. It is a breath-taking wallpaper. The character is elegant and is expressed in a wonderful way. The color scheme you got going on is woah. If I was to give you a grade I'll give you A+ and extra credit points ;) Woot. One of the longest comment I made in the wallpaper. Keep up the great work!
